In order to secure your event, a 50% deposit via credit card is required. The remaining balance is due upon our arrival at the event. We show up rain or shine! Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can be transferred to another date if available, but transfers must be made no later than 15 days prior to event date. Events that are canceled within 48 hours from the scheduled event, or where no one is present upon arrival at the address provided by the client, will be charged the full amount.
Yes! With your scheduled event, you are given access to PartyLink which is your own unique online event management website. You can send GameTruck e-vites to your guests through your PartyLink site. If you prefer physical invitations to hand out, those can be mailed to you as well.
Once booked, customers will have access to the GameTruck Custom Merch Shop to order items shipped directly to them. That link is available even after the event for purchasing. All items purchased from the Custom Merch Shop are shipped directly to the customer, so they don't have to wait for us to bring them! You can also ask our party planners for their suggestions or check out our Facebook page party photos and find some awesome ideas.
No. Unfortunately, drinks and cake do not mix well with electronics and make for greasy controllers. Only bottled water is allowed on the GameTruck as long as it has a secure lid.
GameTruck can accommodate 15-20 kids safely. 20+ can play at one time with 4 people on each of our 9 screens. If a few more than this amount show up to your party, no worries. We just recommend a rotation system so that everyone is comfortable and has a chance to enjoy and there is an included minimum 10% gratuity.
Our 10+ years in business has taught us GameTruck is appropriate for ages 6 and older. Children younger than 5 need to be accompanied by a parent to be in the GameTruck. We will consider doing parties for younger ages if the customer agrees to limit the number of participants to 10 kids or less.
The truck/trailer is approximately 50' long. We ask our customers to reserve 60' of space to give us plenty of room if we have to parallel park. Our policy is to always park on the street directly in front of your house or establishment. As a safety precaution, we cannot park in the grass or gravel.
Yes, city parks are a great place to have your GameTruck party. You will be responsible for securing parking ahead of time as well as contacting park officials for permission and reservations. Some parks will require a permit or rental of a pavilion. We will still have to park on street or in the parking lot and not anywhere on the grass.
GameTruck features the best top games for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, XBOX ONE, Series X, and Nintendo Switch. We will bring our entire game library and have games suitable for all ages. The customer has control of the maturity level of games made available for the kids. Your Game Coach will give you the opportunity to review/restrict game selection before the kids enter the trailer. If you have a game from home that you would like to bring into the GameTruck, please let your Game Coach know at the event so he can make sure it doesn't get left behind.
We ask that all food and drinks remain outside of the GameTruck. Pizza grease and game controllers don’t mix! Bottled water is allowed with a secure lid.
We require that one responsible adult remains at the event for its duration. Parents are more than welcome to be inside the GameTruck during the event but not required. Each GameTruck event is hosted by a professionally trained and background screened Game Coach who will ensure the success of each event. Game Coaches always do their best to involve everyone, regardless of their skill level.
We are self-powered with quiet running commercial generators. We do not need to plug into any electrical outlet.
Absolutely! All our GameTrucks have at least two RV air conditioning units that will keep the GameTruck cool and comfortable. Texas is known for its heat. In hotter months when temps begin to approach triple digits, we do ask that you secure a shaded place to park. Also on these hotter days, we ask that you help us, by reminding kids to keep all doors closed for the majority of the event and not run in and out to keep air conditioning inside.
