What is your refund/cancellation policy?

In order to secure your event, a $100 deposit via credit card is required. The remaining balance is due upon our arrival at the event. We show up rain or shine! Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can be transferred to another date if available, but transfers must be made no later than 15 days prior to event date. Events that are canceled within 48 hours from the scheduled event, or where no one is present upon arrival at the address provided by the client, will be charged the full amount.

Do you provide invitations?

We can provide postcard invitations upon request.

Do you have party favors?

Yes! Party favors can be purchased by adding a package. Favors can also be purchased a la carte to fit the size and needs of your group.

What if we have more than 20 guests?

We always strive to provide the best experience for you and your guests. A guest count of 16-20 players is suggested for the best experience. Guests counts of 20-30 may require your group to be organized into smaller groups with scheduled play times. Groups of 30 or more will require an additional GameCoach to manage the event and will be charged Large Format pricing.

Is there an age limit?

Our 8+ years in business has taught us GameTruck is appropriate for ages 6 and older.

How much space do you need?

We ask our customers to reserve 50' of space to give us plenty of room if we have to parallel park. Our policy is to always park in the street. As a safety precaution, we cannot park in driveways.

Can you come to parks?

Yes, we do many events at parks but each city is different in their willingness to allow us into their parking lots. For large city or regional parks where you want us to be in their parking lot, you should contact the city's parks department and clear everything with them first. Often times they will require you to have a permit and will want to be named on our insurance. Smaller community or neighborhood parks where we'll be parking on a public street that runs adjacent to the park does not require you to contact the city first.

What consoles do you have? Do we choose games ahead of time?

We carry the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, Wii U and Nintendo Switch. We like to get an idea of the types of games the VIP likes to play as well as the restrictions that will be placed on the game ratings.

Do you allow food and drinks inside the GameTruck?

We only allow bottled water in the truck. No food, candy, or other drinks will be allowed without approval from GameTruck Richmond.

Do parents need to supervise?

Parents are always welcome to join the party but are not required to supervise unless there are kids under the age of 6 at the party.

Do you need to plug into an outlet?

We are self-powered with quiet running commercial generators. We do not need to plug into your home.

How many players can fit in the GameTruck?

To insure safety, manageability of the event, and comfort of the participants, we suggest up to 24 inside the trailer as an optimal number + up to four more playing on our outside screen. We can have up to 24 players at the same time if we get four players on each screen.

Do the trailers have air conditioning and heat?

Absolutely! All our GameTrucks have air conditioning units and heat for the cold winters.

How much space do you need?

Most single family homes have the necessary space for a quality Laser Tag experience. If you have any questions please call (804) 938-1337 and we can look at your location on Google Maps to ensure you have enough space.

Can you come to parks?

Absolutely. We prefer to setup on grass, and we need enough space (about a tennis court in size) for the kids to play and have fun. For large city or regional parks where you want us to be in their parking lot, you should contact the city's parks department and clear everything with them first.

Parents are encouraged to join our parties, but are not required to supervise.

Do you need to plug into an outlet?

We will need an outlet to blow up inflatable barriers.

How many players can play laser tag?

20 at a time can play. If you have a larger group, we can accommodate them by taking turns. Games last 5-10 minutes, so everyone gets plenty of play time.

How many kids can play ZTAG?

20 kids can play at once

Is there an age limit?

We recommend an open space that is at least 30x30

Can you come to parks?

Yes! We love parks. Please check with us before booking as different parks have different requirements.

Do you need to plug into an outlet?

We bring our own power.

Is ZTAG for indoors or outdoors?

It is preferable to play ZTAG indoors due to the bright daylight interfering with the wrist wear electronics. However, playing outdoors is possible as an alternative if absolutely needed.

How many kids can play in the Foam Party?

Groups of 20-30 works best.

Is there an age limit?

How much space do you need?

Our Foam cannon alone can fill up an area of up to 40x40 ft. The foam works best on grass but it can also work on driveways, Parking lots or closed-off roads. Areas that are mostly dirt are not recommended .

Can you come to parks?

We cannot unless this is an event for Parks and Recreation.

Do parents need to supervise?

They do not, but we encourage adults to play as well!

Do you need a hose/water spigot?

Set-up is quick and easy. All we need is access to an outdoor faucet and a 20amp plug for electricity. We need to be within 50 feet of a Spigot and Electrical Outlet

Is it slippery, what are the risks, who manages the participants?

It can be slippery depending on the surface so its important to remember that safety be your top priority during the foam party when booking a foam party.  Foam party organizers are required to oversee and take precautions that will prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of participants which includes assigning someone who will oversee the behavior of the participants and to make sure they are wearing rubber sole shoes.

What should guests wear?

Lightweight shorts, shirts and rubber sole shoes are highly recommended for those wanting to play the foam. Swimsuits are suggested for any adults or kids who want to play in the foam for longer periods of time. In addition, goggles are suggested for those who wish to play or sit in the foam zone.

How long is a party?

As long as you want!

Can you do a Foam Party at my pool?

We cannot. As fun as this may seem this is actually an incredibly dangerous thing to do! The foam can stack pretty high and make it incredibly hard to see when people are struggling/ drowning . We would never put ourselves or our clients at risk like that!

What if it rains?

For the safety of your guests and our staff, we cannot set up the foam party if rain looks imminent and we will have to reschedule the event. There is no refunds for weather related issues, however you will not lose you money. You can reschedule the Foam Party or any other service we have in the future.
