In order to secure your event, a $100 deposit via credit card is required. The remaining balance is due upon our arrival at event. We show up rain or shine! Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can be transferred to another date if available, but transfers must be made no later than 15 days prior to event date. Events that are canceled within 48 hours from the scheduled event, or where no one is present upon arrival at the address provided by the client, will be charged the full amount.
Yes! With your scheduled event you are given access to PartyLink which is your own unique online event management website. You can send GameTruck e-vites to your guests through your PartyLink site. If you prefer mailable invitations, those can be mailed to you as well.
Yes! We offer two party package upgrades to the standard Rock Star Package. Pick the Super Star package for silicone wristbands for up to 20 guests, or upgrade to the Hall of Fame with LED wristbands for up to 20 guests. Both upgrades include a GameTruck T-shirt and VIP lanyard keepsake.
While we do not provide food or drink, we can put you in touch with a catering service upon request.
To insure safety, manageability of the event, and comfort of the participants, we suggest up to 16 inside the trailer as an optimal number + up to four more playing on our outside screen. We can have up to 16 kids playing at the same time if we get four kids on each screen.
Our 8+ years in business has taught us GameTruck is appropriate for ages 6 and older. Children younger than 6 need to be accompanied by a parent to be in the GameTruck. We will consider doing parties for younger ages if the customer agrees to limit the number of participants to 12 kids or less.
The truck/trailer is approximately 45' long. We ask our customers to reserve 60' of space to give us plenty of room if we have to parallel park. Our policy is to always park in the street. As a safety precaution, we cannot park in driveways.
Yes, we do many events at parks but each city is different in their willingness to allow us into their parking lots. For large city or regional parks where you want us to be in their parking lot, you should contact the city's parks department and clear everything with them first. Often times they will require you to have a permit and will want to be named on our insurance. Smaller community or neighborhood parks where we'll be parking on a public street that runs adjacent to the park does not require you to contact the city first. As long as you can reserve us 60' of parking on the street we're good to go!
GameTruck features the best top games for Nintendo Switch, XBOX ONE, PlayStation 4, XBOX 360, Wii U and the Wii. We will bring our entire game library and have games suitable for all ages. The customer has control of the games made available for the kids. Your GameCoach will give you the opportunity to review/restrict game selection before the kids enter the trailer. If you have a game from home that you would like to bring into the GameTruck, please let your GameCoach know at the event so he can make sure it doesn't get left behind.
We ask that all food and drinks remain outside of the GameTruck. Pizza grease and game controllers don’t mix!
We require that one responsible adult remains at the event for its duration. Parents are more than welcome to be inside the GameTruck during the event but not required. Each GameTruck event is hosted by a professionally trained and background screened GameCoach who will ensure the success of each event. GameCoaches always do their best to involve everyone, regardless of their skill level.
We are self-powered with quiet running commercial generators. We do not need to plug into your home.
Absolutely! All our GameTrucks have at least two 13.5k BTU RV air conditioning units.
We have found that players 8 years or older have the best experience, they can follow directions, work in teams, and think strategically and they are strong enough to hold the taggers without getting tired.
A minimum of 40ft x 80ft is required.
Absolutely. We prefer to setup on grass, and we need enough space (about a tennis court in size) for the kids to play and have fun.
Parents are always welcome to supervise, but our GameCoach will supervise the event the entire time.
Our equipment is battery operated and our preparation procedures make sure everything is charged before you party starts. From the taggers to the music, we can throw a fun event practically anywhere.
12 at a time can play. If you have a larger group, we can accommodate them by taking turns. Games only last 5-10 minutes, so everyone gets plenty of play time.
