Terms & Conditions

TERMS & POLICIES

Customer shall pay FINAL Payment by Bank Debit card, Cash, Zelle [908-300-6880] or Check (made out to GameTruck) or a Credit Card transaction fee of 3.0% of the balance may apply. By submitting a deposit, customer agrees with all Terms and Conditions.

Customer agrees and and accepts all GameTruck Terms & Policies. Customer will advise GameTruck of any possible travel/parking issues (nearby detours, road conditions, best approaches, road limitations & unable to park on the street). GameTruck reserves the right to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances. GameTruck is not responsible for any personal items at any event. All liability for damages and/or injuries are the sole responsibility of the customer and/or host. GameTruck reserves the right to charge the customer for damage to vehicles, trailers, equipment due to careless or willful of same by any guest. For any large format events, GameTruck reserves the right to include 20% automatic gratuity. Any concerns with posting event pictures to social media, customer will let GameTruck know. Certificate of Insurance requests shall be submitted at least 2 weeks prior.

Reservation Deposit

At the time of booking, Customer authorizes GameTruck to charge a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $150 of the quoted price for reservation of the event. Events booked online are for private small events (24 participants or less).

Payment Terms

Customer authorizes GameTruck may charge the remaining invoice balance beginning 48 hours prior to the event, although in many instances final payment is collected at the conclusion of your event. If customer intends to pay with a different credit card than the one used for the deposit, customer must call the office at least 48 hours prior to the event with the new card information. Final payments by credit card may incur a 3% service charge. A $10 service charge will be applied towards any refunds. Any RETURNED CHECK will incur a $25 charge automatically charged. Payment by ZELLE may be sent to 908-300-6880.

Cancellation Policy

Because people often book parties well in advance, customer recognizes that times reserved are in short supply. Therefore should Customer request a cancellation within 21 days of the event, or Customer is a no show for the event, the full remaining balance of the invoice will be due. A $150.00 reschedule fee will apply to any event rescheduled within a two weeks of the event. Rescheduled events must be rescheduled within 2 weeks of the original event date or the cancellation fee will apply. A $10 service charge will apply to any refunds.

Weather Policy

GameTruck will make every reasonable attempt to deliver an event. Forecast of bad weather is not an exception to the cancellation policy. However, if an event is affected by unsafe weather (lightening, weather warnings, high winds, heavy snow, unsafe roads, unsafe conditions, or flooding); GameTruck reserves the right to reschedule your event within 2 weeks of the original event. No refund will be issued for this reschedule. No discounts available for parking issues.

Parking Policy

GameTruck trailers & vehicles are no wider than any contractor or landscaper vehicle and in most cases parking outside the home at the curb is not an issue. Please check with your location if any permit is needed. If a parking permit is required it will be the responsibility of Customer to arrange for one. Please refer to the Video Game Trailer Terms if you have the video trailer event. For the other activities, a van will need to be parked close by the activity area.

Video Game Trailer Terms (when applicable)

Prior to arrival customer will allocate 60 feet curbside on the street (approximately 7 parking spaces) for the video game trailer to park that is free of hazards and foot traffic on the street/parking lot. Additional time spent beyond the standard set up time waiting for vehicles to move or parking The ‘Game Truck’ in a location other than in front of the house on the street or place of business will be considered part of the rental time. To avoid damage to customer and GameTruck® property, GameTruck® reserves the right to refuse to back the video game trailer onto customer property (including driveways). Due to safety concerns GameTruck Video Game Trailers do not back up/pulls into driveways. Additional time backing into a requested area will be subjected to the contracted time. Delays caused by clearing space for the truck and trailer will not prevent GameTruck from leaving at the scheduled time. A GameTruck parking damage waiver must be completed by customer when parking on private property. GameTruck® nor its employees are not responsible for damages incurred above/below ground to private property and/or equipment. Food/Drink/Pets are prohibited inside the video game trailer.

LaserTag and GelTag Terms (when applicable)

Staff will be on-site ~45 minutes prior to the start of your event to set up the bunker field and LaserTag equipment. A representative must be present to show staff where to setup. Contracted playing time includes Opening/Closing Ceremonies, Safety Rules explanation, Game play rules explanation, Game resets, battery pack changes & Water breaks. Only 24 players may play LaserTag at a time for each game. Any non compliance of the rules of play, GameTruck reserves the right to eject any person and/or seize play at any time. GelTag authorized waivers must be in hand of GameTruck staff prior to the start of event, found at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1M91fkKwToQs1iyTorV7y0bc0kg50QK5f. GelTag Facemasks must be worn at all times for participants and all people watching in the area.

WaterTag/FOAM Terms (when applicable)

A fresh water tap water supply must be provided on site at the playing area. Staff will be on-site ~45 minutes prior to the start of your event to set up the water tag field. A representative must be present to show where staff to setup. Contracted playing time includes Opening/Closing Ceremonies, Safety Rules explanation, Game play rules explanation, Game resets & Water breaks. Wind conditions may affect the foam field. Only 24 players may play WaterTag/FOAM at a time for each game.

GameTruck Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
