The GameTruck™ is proud to partner with The Challenger Learning Center of Peoria, Arizona. “We are thrilled to introduce the Challenger Traveling Space Experience,” said Scott Novis, Founder of the GameTruck™. The Challenger Traveling Space Experience(CTSE) is an interactive mobile science lab that will stimulate students interest in science through an innovative variety of programs and interactive experiences. Built upon the same successful framework as the GameTruck™ mobile media platform – the self powered, climate controlled CTSE will deliver a variety of compelling on-site field trip programs to Schools around the state of Arizona.

This project was made possible by a grant from the Honeywell Corporation through their Honeywell Hometown Solutions program. The staff at the Challenger Learning Center and GameTruck® are grateful for Honeywell’s support for this project.

“Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The same disciplines that put someone into orbit are also the same things that make modern video games so compelling,” said Novis. “Modern video games are built using sophisticated physics engines to simulate Force, Mass, and Acceleration effects (FMA). Game designers might make fantastic worlds that stray from reality, nevertheless, the engineering principles are the same. You are applying very precise rules to achieve specific outcomes and affects. You have to master the principles before you can modify them.”

Why deal with the hassel and expense of a field trip? You can bring the Challenger Traveling Space Experience to your school. We bring certified Challenger Flight instructors to manage the event and provide the instruction. All you need to provide is a place to park and people to learn!

Starting with a tour of the Solar System, the CTSE will allow students to explore our solar system in an immersive three dimensional simulation. Students can experience a simulated “space flight” and explore the sun, planets, moons, comets, asteroids, interplanetary spacecraft and earth-orbiting satellites with stunning realism.
